Two ordained ministers share the charge of Greenock West. They are partners in life as well as work: David & Zam have 2 children: Taliesin , 13 and Melangell ( Millie) 10.
They write
Our work and calling has gradually come together since our marriage in 1996, shortly after David was ordained. Zam has worked in social work, probation, and the provision of supported housing.
David has qualifications in Theology, German, and electronic graphics
Zam has qualifications in Theology, including an Edinburgh MTh.
Both Zam and David have responsibilities in the wider church: David as convenor of the synod Church & Society Committee, and one of the representatives for the whole URC to the Council for World Mission.
Both of us have published prayers, articles and other writings, especially with Wild Goose Publications David has contributed many images as well, most recently to Around a thin place, a book on the Iona Pilgrimage. as well as Iona, Images and Reflections as well as many cover pictures for ‘Coracle’ the magazine of the Iona Community
